BOARDER CROSSINGS: ART THERAPY IN THE WORLD

Border Crossings: Art Therapy in the World will be an all-day spring symposium on art therapy. The symposium will feature a keynote presentation by nationally known author and presenter, Dr. Lynn Kapitan, ATR-BC. Lynn is an art therapist educator, cross-cultural practitioner, and community development consultant in  Latin America. She is distinguished service award recipient and Past President of the American Art Therapy Association, and currently is the Executive Editor of Art Therapy: Journal of the American Art Therapy Association. She is the author of Re-Enchanting Art Therapy and An Introduction to Art Therapy Research. She will present her work as an international ambassador for art therapy. There will also be presentations and workshops by prominent regional art therapists and art therapy educators. The symposium will conclude with an evening of performance artworks and a wine and cheese reception.
