Art Therapist Referral Directory

The Wisconsin Art Therapy Association is pleased to offer a list of member art therapists who are master's level and/or board certified art therapists in your community.  Please feel free to contact the following art therapists at the numbers or emails listed.

The American Art Therapy Association (AATA) also offers a national Art Therapist locator where you may search for an art therapist by state and/or city.  Click here to search the AATA art therapist locator.

Educational, professional, and ethical standards for art therapists are regulated by the American Art Therapy Association.  The Art Therapy Credentials Board, Inc (ATCB), an independent organization, grants postgraduate Registration (ATR) after reviewing documentation of completion of graduate education and postgraduate supervised experience.  The Registered Art Therapist who successfully completes the written examination administered by the ATCB is qualified as Board Certified (ATR-BC), a credential requiring maintenance through continuing education credits.

Please note: This list represents current WATA members who are art therapists and have submitted information for this referral directory.  The art therapists listed here obtained, at a minimum, a Master's Degree in Art Therapy, which is the entry level for practice.  Listing on this referral page does not imply any endorsement of the services of these art therapists by WATA.  WATA also makes no representation or warranty as to the quality of the services provided by the art therapists who are listed on this page.
